Ashanti Shequoiya who is better popularly known as Ashanti, is a famous American singer and actress. She is a songwriter, singer and actress who hails from in the United States. Ashanti's talent was first discovered when she was a teenager. The singer signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. In the same year, she appeared on Fat Joe's What's Luv? Also, she was featured in Fat Joe's track What's Luv?! and Ja Rules' track Never On Time, both of which became huge hit songs. The first ever female to reach the top two positions within the United States, with Foolish at number one, and What's Luv? The song is called What's Luv!
